Chicago, IL (June 28, 2025) - Fair Share America and Unrig Our Economy released a new video today that showcases the people they’ve engaged on their cross-country bus tour who are resisting the Trump/GOP reconciliation bill that would do harm to their families and communities. The video was posted just as the U.S. Senate is expected to hold a vote-a-rama on the bill this evening.

Kristen Crowell, Executive Director of Fair Share America, who is featured in the new video as she rides the bus cross country, spoke at a recent tour stop in Warren, Michigan, about the high level of engagement to oppose the bill:

“The more people know about it, the more enraged they are and the more we're taking action. Leaders know the public is opposed to it. They know this is bad policy and they are hiding and answering to their billionaire donors instead of their constituents. And the last thing I want to leave you with is that it doesn't have to be this way. If the rich in this country just simply paid their fair share, if they just simply paid what you and I all pay, we could have a different vision for our communities. We could live with dignity.”
