THURSDAY: Fmr Social Security Commissioner Martin O’Malley to Join Citizen Town Hall

Rep. Bryan Steil Has Not Responded to Invitations to Attend the Town Hall with His Constituents, hosted by Fair Share America and State Coalition Partners

April 21, 2025

Racine, WI – This Thursday, April 24th at 6pm Fair Share America and its state coalition partners will hold a community town hall meeting in Racine to discuss what’s at stake for Wisconsin’s working families in the federal budget and tax debate, as well as the ongoing DOGE cuts to federal agencies.

Rep. Bryan Steil, who represents the district, has been invited to attend and engage with his constituents about why he just voted for cruel cuts in the House budget resolution that put the Racine community at risk in order to fund more tax cuts for the rich. He has not responded to invitations.

Instead, Former Social Security Commissioner Martin O’Malley will join the town hall to give a report out from Washington and take questions on how DOGE’s cuts and Congress’s actions will impact Social Security, Medicaid, SNAP and more, all to put billionaires over working families.

WHO: Concerned Wisconsin citizens will join

  • Former Maryland Governor and Social Security Commissioner Martin O’Malley

  • Executive Director of Fair Share America Kristen Crowell, and
