DETROIT – Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 22nd at 6pm Fair Share America and its state coalition partners will hold a community town hall meeting in Warren, MI to discuss what’s at stake for Michigan’s working families in the federal budget and tax discussions.

Rep. John James, who represents the district, has been invited to attend and engage with his constituents about why he just voted for cruel cuts to Medicaid and SNAP in the House budget resolution that put the Warren community at risk in order to fund more tax cuts for the rich. He has not responded to invitations or agreed to attend.

Instead, Rep. Rashida Tlaib will join the town hall to give a report out from Washington and take questions on the budget resolution that puts billionaires over working families.
